Nancy Pelosi LaughingHealth Care has passed and now people have been split into categories. People who are pleased, people who are indifferent, people who disagree with some of the policy, and the batshit crazy crowd who think we are turning into communists Germany(someone said that to me literally 30 minutes ago). I have heard people say ridiculous things like, “This is the end of America!” Really? A slight change in health care policy is the fall of an empire? I’ve also heard someone say things about the bill like “It’s a baby killer!”  Except this wasn’t shouted by my shirtless neighbor from his front yard weight bench like usual, it was from Randy Neugebauer on the house floor. Here is a list of a couple things that will and won’t happen because of this bill.

  • Will Happen – If your business has less than 50 employees you will get a tax credits covering up to 50% of employees premiums.
  • Won’t Happen – Doctors will not force you to participate in Thunderdome
  • Will Happen – The cut-off age to be covered by a parents’ health insurance rises to 27
  • Won’t Happen – Barney Frank will not be involved in your next prostate exam no matter what Glenn Beck tells you
  • Will Happen – Insurers must now reveal how much money is spent on overhead.
  • Won’t Happen – Simon, Randy, and Paula won’t be deciding rather your granny dies or  gets to write checks at the dollar store for another year
  • Will Happen – Indoor cancer machines or as some call tanning booths will be taxed 10%
  • Won’t Happen – Obama will not start taxing you for being pale, but may start taxing Limbaughs emissions
  • Will Happen – Children will no longer be denied for having pre-existing conditions, and adults starting in 2014
  • Won’t Happen – Tea party crowd changes opinion after confrontation with facts and reality
