iPad Chain makes Flavor Flav obsolete

Look. You can either wear your iPad, or you can wear your iPad -- like this stylish trailblazer spotted at the Lennox Mall in Atlanta this week. Of course, we've been wearing ours like this since day one, but it's always nice to see a trend catch on. Let's just hope no one tries to steal this guy's iPad. We all know how that can end.

Devon Works Tread 1 breaks new horizon in horology

Since timepieces have moved on from traditional looks to become a big part of the fashion world, but most importantly the watches are now designed to push the boundaries of mechanical craftsmanship so as to break new horizons. This is exactly what Devon Works has achieved with their new engineering masterpiece - Tread 1. This space-aged and bulletproof haute horology encloses four 2/1000th of an inch thin belts mounted on a central chassis to allow smooth operation and at the same time to create an illusion as if parts are floating within the case. Powered by four extremely compact microstep motors what could be described as battery, Tread 1 has a integrated wireless technology for battery charging that will run for up to two weeks on a single charge. Made from high grade stainless steel, the Tread 1 will sell for around $15,000.

The world class London shoemaker, Jimmy Choo, better known for taking the shoe designing down to an art, has unveiled the first range of trainers. Made from exotic purple snakeskin, patent leather and silver suede, these sneakers combine a hint of old school trainer style with a glamorous cool look to set them apart in the crowded world of sneakers. These stunners would be available in eight designs next month, but make sure to add your name to the lengthy waiting list at Jimmychoo.com.

All it takes is a Facebook application to customize different messages to different groups of friends. The garment uses the Lilypad and Lilypad Xbee with custom software to interface with Facebook, meaning the garment is designed to tune to your taps. A sure hit with car racing enthusiasts, the AMVOX5 features 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph counters and will be powered by Jaeger’s automatic 752 caliber. Equipped with a 24 time zone indicator along with its magnificent inner workings, the AMVOX5 demonstrates the two iconic companies’ common pursuit of innovation, performance and refinement. Available in a limited edition of only 300, the AMVOX5 World Chronograph will be made in three versions of ceramic, titanium and 18 carat pink gold.
